Car Team Leader - Autism
- Taunton, Somerset Join a passionate team dedicated to providing personalised care and educational support for two young adults with autism. Lead and inspire a small team of support staff working closely with the family and professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities: Lead a small care team, providing direct support and guidance Motivate and engage through structured, creative learning activities Manage behaviour challenges with positive, understanding approaches Collaborate with the family and specialists to enhance learning and life skills Champion personalised care in the home and community Requirements: Experience supporting individuals with autism Strong leadership, communication, and team motivation skills Full UK driver's licence Patience, calmness under pressure, and a passion for learning new skills NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification Willingness to engage in training including PECs, TEACCH, and British Sign Language Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on skills & qualifications. Job Type: Permanent Location: Taunton, Somerset A DBS check is required; the cost will be reimbursed after successful completion of a 6-month probation.
