Job Description: Our client, a forward-thinking and dynamic organisation, is seeking a

Talent Manager

to lead their talent acquisition and development strategies. As the Talent Manager, you will play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent across the business. You will work closely with leadership and HR teams to create a high-performing workforce that aligns with the company’s strategic goals.

In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end talent management process, from recruitment and onboarding to employee development and performance management. You will also champion diversity and inclusion, ensuring that the organisation’s workforce reflects its values and commitment to building an inclusive culture. Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that attract top-tier candidates to meet business needs.

Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and ensure job roles align with strategic objectives.

Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers to ensure the best talent is hired.

Talent Development:

Create and implement employee development programs that enhance professional growth and leadership skills.

Establish clear career progression pathways and oversee the design of mentoring and coaching initiatives.

Support ongoing learning and development through training programs tailored to employee and organisational needs.

Performance Management:

Develop and manage a robust performance management system to drive employee engagement and productivity.

Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance appraisals, goal-setting, and improvement plans.

Monitor employee performance metrics and propose strategies for continuous improvement.

Diversity and Inclusion:

Lead diversity and inclusion efforts to foster an equitable and diverse workplace.

Ensure all talent management practices, including recruitment and development, support a culture of inclusion.

Advise on initiatives and strategies that promote diversity at all levels within the organisation.

Succession Planning:

Work closely with senior leaders to identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans for critical roles.

Implement talent pipelines to ensure long-term organisational success by grooming future leaders.

Employer Branding:

Enhance the company’s employer brand by showcasing its unique culture, career growth opportunities, and values.

Leverage external networks to source potential talent and build strategic partnerships to widen the recruitment pool.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in talent management, recruitment, or HR (minimum 3-5 years).

Expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.

Strong background in designing and executing development programs.

Demonstrated ability to build diverse, equitable, and inclusive teams.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on results.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable:

CIPD qualification or equivalent.

Experience with talent management software and HR systems.

Knowledge of diversity and inclusion practices.
