We are seeking a highly motivated and recently qualified Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to gain valuable experience in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of the company's tax compliance and reporting activities. The role will report into the Head of Financial Control and Compliance and will work in partnership with Two Circles’ external tax advisors and the wider finance team. We are seeking someone with strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a passion for the sports industry. We are particularly looking for someone hands on, who will thrive in our fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

At Two Circles, we use external tax advisors to support our tax requirements. As the group has expanded across regions, the tax landscape is now more complex and so we are seeking support with managing group tax. Tax Compliance:

Ownership and maintenance of the tax calendar across the group, liaising with external advisors to ensure deadlines are met. Key point of contact for our external auditors during the annual audit process to provide necessary documentation and support for tax related matters. Assistance with the preparation of tax returns, including Corporation Income Tax, VAT, PSA etc. Support the business in responding to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

Tax Reporting:

Review and reconciliation of tax balance sheet and P&L accounts to ensure correct classification & reconciliation of all payments to bank statements. Responsible for tax related journal postings. Support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision calculations across the group. Assistance with the preparation of tax disclosures for financial statements.

Tax Planning:

Provide input to the business on ad hoc commercial tax queries e.g. Sales tax, VAT, WHT etc on new client relationships.

Internal Controls:

In conjunction with the Head of Financial Control and Compliance, monitor and improve internal controls related to tax processes.

Other Duties:

Perform other ad-hoc tax-related tasks as assigned.

Qualification & Key Experience:

Newly Qualified Tax Accountant (CTA/ATT or equivalent) Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Advanced Excel skills Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement. Experience in a global business Experience in sports or a related entertainment industry Experience in the sports industry is a plus What can we offer you?
