The successful candidate will oversee all tax-related matters, ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Description Oversee all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time. Proactively identify and manage tax risks within the business. Work closely with other departments to ensure tax efficiency. Provide advice on tax matters, supporting strategic decision making. Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations. Conduct tax audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities. Support the implementation of tax-saving initiatives. Profile A successful Tax Accountant should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field. Professional certification in tax or accounting (e.g. ACCA, CTA, ACA) from a top practice Solid knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns. Prior experience preparing Corporate Tax Prior experience in Customs tax would be a distinct advantage Experience in industrial and manufacturing sector is a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in relevant accounting software. Job Offer Base salary: £70,000-£90,000 £500-£1,500 Discretionary bonus 4.5 day working week Opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment.
