Position : Tax Advisor

Contract Type : Permanent

Annual Salary : £55,000 - £70,000

Working Pattern : Full Time

Your Role :

As a Tax Advisor, you will be the go-to expert for a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Client Engagement: Deliver outstanding service by establishing and nurturing client relationships. Be proactive in liaising with clients and financial advisers on advisory matters, meeting deadlines, and addressing client needs.

Tax Strategy Development: Create tailored tax strategies that help clients plan their financial futures. Support the financial advisory team with tax planning for mutual clients.

Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and submit individual returns by tax filing deadlines. Conduct detailed computations to calculate tax liabilities and advise clients on minimising their liabilities.

Advisory Services: Prepare advisory tax planning reports and establish trusts. Advise on remuneration strategies, tax-efficient share schemes, and estate planning.

Team Leadership: Delegate tasks and review work from junior team members while also engaging in personal business development activities.

What You Bring:

Experience & Skills: Proven private client tax experience within professional services or industry. A technically capable tax adviser who excels in complex client work with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications (CTA).

Client Focus: A proactive approach to providing clear advice while meeting deadlines.

Team Player: A key contributor in a close-knit team, offering support to colleagues and financial advisers.

Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to embrace new challenges and share your knowledge with others.
