As a Tax Advisory Senior Associate, you will work with the Tax Advisory managers and partners to provide tax advice to a diverse range of clients: both existing clients of the firm and new tax advisory specific clients.

The tax advisory team as a whole offer tax advice across a breadth of tax areas with the primary focus being tax planning for owner manager businesses and private individuals.

Typically, the advisory work will centre around company reorganisations with HMRC clearances, R&D tax relief claims, Share schemes and EMI option schemes, Inheritance Tax planning, Property tax planning and SDLT advice. To name a few.

Your role will include attending client meetings and preparation of tax advice and tax planning reports. You will be involved in more complex tax compliance matters, supporting the team in tax technical issues. Drafting tax planning reports and modelling tax implications across a range of areas Undertake tax technical research to support tax planning and tax advice to internal teams and external clients. Working with clients and other advisers to identify their needs and to propose practical tax efficient solutions We would love to hear from tax professionals from any aspect of tax, be it corporate, personal, indirect or direct. Compliance or advisory but most importantly with an ambition to progress into a purely advisory role. This is a chance to leave compliance behind and work on tax projects with an interesting cohort of clients.

Part or fully qualified ATT or CTA or by experience, including an accountancy qualification with tax focused practical experience.
