Description
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
Preparing tax and accounts for individual clients and businesses.
Completing corporate, personal, and partnership tax returns.
Producing year-end accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
Preparing VAT returns and occasional bookkeeping tasks.
Liaising with HMRC on clients' behalf.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Ensuring all work complies with the firm's quality control standards.
Assisting with ad-hoc tax and accounts projects as required.
Profile
A successful Tax and Accounts Senior should have:
Relevant academic qualifications in accounting or a related field.
Demonstrated skills in tax and accountancy.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
A strong understanding of HMRC regulations.
Good working knowledge of various accounting programmes ideally having experience with Sage, Xero and CCH Central.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Offer
A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per year.
35 hours per week (with the option of a 4-day week).
25 days holiday plus bank holidays (20 days for a 4-day week).
