Tax Associate Search is currently seeking a Tax Associate to join a growing tax department within a well-established firm in Liverpool. This exciting opportunity will involve working on a diverse portfolio of clients, handling tax compliance across both corporate and personal tax. The ideal candidate will have a strong personal tax background, as well as experience in corporation tax. While the role is primarily focused on compliance, there will be opportunities to assist in tax planning and advisory work as you progress in the role. Key Responsibilities include: Manage a personal tax portfolio, ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and within deadlines. Completion of self-assessment tax returns for partnerships, LLPs, sole traders, and capital gains tax. Preparation of forms P11D. Communicate with clients via phone, email, and meetings to discuss their tax affairs. Correspond with HMRC as needed. Monitor tax payments and advise clients. Client Budgets, submitting timesheets and raising invoices. Stay up to date with tax affairs and development. Skills required: Strong experience in personal tax within a practice environment. Corporation tax experience in a similar role. ATT/CTA Qualified/Part Qualified or qualified by experience. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A commitment to personal development and career progression.
