You will be based in our city office working within our expanding Tax department as a Tax associate, combined office-based and client facing role. The role will be a mixed tax role, under the supervision of experienced managers. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about numbers, problem-solving, and keen to work in a collaborative team environment. Whether you have an academic background in finance, accounting, or related fields, or you’re simply eager to learn, this role offers the chance to gain valuable experience and qualifications in the field of taxation. What will the role entail?

Responsibilities

Personal Tax

Preparing Personal Tax Returns varying in complexity from R40 repayment claims to high net worth individuals, including company directors, self-employed individuals and partners/partnerships. Ad-hoc advisory work. Processing of tax returns for resident non-domiciled individuals. Processing of non-resident landlord tax returns for individuals. Corporate Tax

Preparation of computations and returns, which may include personal tax affairs of the directors. Responsible for monitoring the corporation tax status of companies. Preparation and submission of P11ds. Processing of ATED returns/relief returns. Processing of corporation tax returns for corporate non-resident landlords. Processing of non-resident capital gains tax returns. International Tax Aspects

Processing of non-resident landlord tax returns for individuals. Processing of tax returns for resident non-domiciled individuals. Processing of corporation tax returns for corporate non-resident landlords. Processing of non-resident capital gains tax returns. Processing of ATED returns/relief returns. Requirements

Interested in a career in tax and a willingness to progress and develop tax knowledge and undertake ATT/CTA if not already commenced. Great time management skills - ability to work on multiple accounts simultaneously. Hardworking and motivated to learn and grow in your career. Apply for this role
