(Tax free) Specialist - Supply Chain Policy (Defense)

Specialist – Supply Chain Policy will oversee the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain policies and frameworks across The Group’s clusters and subsidiaries. This role ensures adherence to best practices, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities:

Policy Development: Design, develop, and implement robust supply chain policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to standardize operations across entities. Align policies with corporate goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Group Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Compliance, Legal, and other business units to ensure consistent policy adoption. Partner with cluster and entity-level leaders to drive policy alignment and implementation. Process Improvement: Continuously analyze and refine supply chain policies to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and optimize costs. Benchmark supply chain practices against global standards and recommend improvements. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with internal controls, external regulations, and national defense mandates. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to supply chain processes and policies. Reporting & Monitoring: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure policy effectiveness across clusters. Oversee audits, reviews, and assessments of supply chain compliance. Training & Communication: Provide training and communication programs to educate internal stakeholders on policy updates and their impact. Serve as a subject matter expert for supply chain governance and compliance. Key Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on policy development, governance, and compliance. Experience in a defense, aerospace, or highly regulated environment is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of supply chain operations, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and process optimization. Proficient in analyzing supply chain risks and implementing mitigation frameworks. Advanced knowledge of global supply chain standards and compliance frameworks. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams in a matrix organization. Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. *NB:
