The Role As a Qualified Tax Manager, you will provide detailed tax advice on a range of matters including corporate restructures, mergers and acquisitions, and international tax issues. You will identify tax planning opportunities and risks, review and prepare corporate tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax legislation. You will also support the Tax Managers/Directors with a wide variety of workstreams and assist in the development and delivery of internal training programmes. To ensure continuous improvement, you will keep up to date with current tax legislation and best practices. You will also have responsibility for enhancing current processes and systems while contributing to the development and implementation of new processes to improve efficiency and service quality. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, with approximately 2 years in an in-house corporate tax role and preferably a background with a Big 4 professional services firm. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of tax legislation. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Knowledge of tax software, such as Alphatax.
