Job Title: Tax Manager
Salary: £50k - £65k
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our clients Finance team as an
Tax Manager . This role is responsible for managing indirect tax compliance, advisory services, and treasury activities to ensure full compliance with relevant tax legislation while maximising financial efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee VAT and tax return preparation, including submissions to tax authorities and international jurisdictions. Manage VAT compliance, annual adjustments, and capital goods scheme returns. Lead VAT audits and liaise with tax authorities to resolve issues. Provide indirect tax advice and guidance across departments, ensuring compliance with VAT and other tax regulations. Develop and deliver VAT training courses for staff. Monitor changes in tax law and identify opportunities for tax savings. Ensure effective treasury management, including overseeing bank accounts, cash flow, and foreign currency exposure. Prepare and submit corporation tax returns, advising on tax risks and opportunities. Manage staff development and performance within the Tax and Treasury team. Essential Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in indirect tax compliance, advisory services, and treasury management. Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and relevant tax regulations. Proven ability to liaise with tax authorities and provide strategic tax advice. Experience with financial systems and VAT exemptions. Excellent communication and project management skills. Desirable Qualifications: Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Finance. Experience in a complex environment.
