You will identify business development opportunities to contribute towards the development of a larger advisory function, with your key responsibilities being, but not limited to the following: Management of P11ds. Oversee personal tax returns, supporting junior staff with technical queries. Completion of complex tax returns. Act as the primary contact for clients, attending meetings, and providing strategic business advisory services. Liaise with external bodies and promptly resolve client queries. Lead, develop, and mentor a small team, promoting a client-centric and supportive environment. The team consists of 5 - 2 x seniors, 2 x trainees and 1 shared tax and payroll trainee. Contribute to monthly management meetings, driving operational and cultural improvements. The skills and experience you will bring

(but don't worry if you don't match 100%, as this firm are wanting to hear from driven professionals): Qualified ATT, ACA/ACCA, or CTA (desirable). Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio in an accounting practice. In-depth knowledge of tax legislation. Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships. Sound tax advisory knowledge. Owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues. Experience of corporate restructuring. Proficiency in addressing complex tax issues. Ability to nurture and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent advisory services. Strong leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
