This successful practice of accountants is building a strong reputation with clients for high quality work and customer care. As the practice’s Tax Senior, you will be an important part of the team and have the opportunity to develop your personal career. This is a mixed taxation role which would really suit a highly experienced and fairly autonomous tax professional. It will involve most aspects of personal and corporate tax, as well as tax planning and support for associated areas such as CIS and payroll. Specifically, you will be processing and submitting tax returns; managing the CGT and IHT computations and planning, and ensuring effective workflow of computations and returns through the firm. There will also be the opportunity to support the Tax Director with any investigations. For business tax, you will be preparing and submitting returns; IXBRL tagging, checking HMRC assessments, and preparing P11Ds, S36s, etc. Your input will be required for the development and improvement of methods and systems. To be considered for this position, you will need to have extensive taxation experience gained within accountancy practice. Professional qualification at ATT or CTA level will be highly regarded.
