We are working with a reputable Northwest-based firm which has enjoyed organic growth due to the success of its long-established and successful tax team. With offices across Manchester and Cheshire, this regional growth is now in a position to grow a mixed tax team and take on a Tax Senior.
Your new role
This Mixed Tax Senior opportunity will involve assisting the tax partner and 2 directors with their client portfolios and will evolve into taking on your own portfolio of personal and corporate clients. You will be responsible for:
Managing queries from HMRC.
Preparing, reviewing and submitting corporate and personal tax returns.
Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
Gaining experience in advisory work, including research for tax planning, e.g. R&D tax, transactions, capital allowance reviews, and HMRC enquiries.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this Mixed Tax Senior opportunity will be CTA or ATT qualified or working towards their qualifications. You will ideally have worked in a personal or corporate tax role for the last 2-3 years and have the drive and ambition to succeed in a very hands-on, busy and dynamic accountancy firm. Strong relationship building and attention to detail will get you far in this exciting role as Mixed Tax Senior.
