As Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, from sole traders, property investors to simple directors of owner managed businesses, with the opportunity to work with larger more complex clients.

You can expect the following tasks to be part of this role:

Processing self-assessment and personal tax returns efficiently and accurately. Preparing and completing P11D forms Communicating with colleagues from other departments, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required Ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects

The Person

Skills and Experience:

CTA qualification (or be nearing qualification). Proven experience within an accountancy practice, with the ability to manage client relationships independently. Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and parthnerships. Sound tax advisory knowledge. Owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues is desirable but not essential. Experience of corporate restructuring desirable but not essential. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in self-assessment software essential. You may be the sort of person who is:
