The role: Reporting to our Finance Manager, with your collaborative and inspiring leadership style you will oversee financial operations to deliver robust financial reporting and manage the effective execution of accounts and tax compliance.

Responsibilities include:

Display hands-on leadership to approximately 5 staff Develop and promote a culture that facilitates teamwork, trust, and open communication Co-ordinate and take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and drive analysis and continued improvement Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Compliance with audit requirements Lead continuous improvement of our Accounts Payable process Manage all aspects of tax compliance Execute month-end closing tasks, expense review, and manage reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Prepare and distribute relevant month end reports to operational managers We are ideally looking for:

An accounting qualification High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Staff leadership experience Excellent customer service skills Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar Ideally have a commercial background experience/exposure As this is a newly created position we are looking to hire as soon as the right person is secured, potentially pre-Christmas.
