Biology Teacher

at Herne Bay High, you’ll play a key role in engaging students with the natural world, from the cellular level to ecology and human biology. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver dynamic and stimulating biology lessons that bring the subject to life for all students. Ensure students are engaged through practical experiments and real-world applications of biology. Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted support to ensure every student’s success. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the biology curriculum and develop new learning resources. Take a leading role in extracurricular activities like biology clubs or field trips, to deepen students' understanding. Foster a passion for environmental issues, conservation, and the life sciences in your students. What We’re Looking For: A

qualified Biology Teacher

with a deep understanding of biological principles and a love for teaching. The ability to inspire students through engaging lessons, practical experiments, and exciting fieldwork. Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor lessons to meet a range of learning needs. A collaborative, positive approach to working within a team. Why Join Us?
