We are seeking a Teacher of Business Studies and Economics to work in our dedicated and committed Business Studies team of three to teach Business Studies and Economics across the age and ability range up to and including Sixth Form. This role is suitable for either an experienced practitioner or a newly qualified teacher. The successful candidate will:

Qualifications

First Degree - Essential

Qualified Teacher Status/PGCE or working towards - Essential

Evidence of continuing and recent professional development - Essential

Further Degree - Desirable

Skills

Ability to teach all ability groups, meeting the needs of all students including those with SEN - Essential

Successful teaching experience at either school(s) or on main teaching practice - Essential

To have an updated knowledge of the delivery and assessment of the national curriculum - Essential

Ability to be an imaginative and effective teacher and to relate well to children - Essential

Ability to maintain high levels of student engagement - Essential

Ability to manipulate data and to access and maintain electronic records and reports - Essential

Experience

Track record of good or outstanding teaching - Essential
