Computer Science

to join our friendly and supportive team. You will have a confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to inspire excellent learning. We currently offer two pathways at KS4, OCR GCSE Computer Science and Pearson BTEC Tech Awards Digital Information Technology (2022), at KS5 we offer OCR A level Computer Science and Pearson BTEC Level 3 ICT. The department has 5 dedicated ICT suites, which is running the latest Office software and other applications. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level in Computer Science or a closely related subject, with a track record of excellent teaching in Computing. Experience in teaching BTEC courses would be advantageous but not essential. As a school we have a fabulous CPD offer to support colleagues at whatever point in their career they are, from our ITT to our senior leaders. We also offer our staff a supportive welfare package including, but not limited to, access to physiotherapy, nurse & doctor appointments and counselling.
