The school is very popular within the Durham area and is currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out English lessons for key stages 3 and 4. Must be 21 and over. Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). PGCE in English or related subject from a recognized provider. You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one. Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting. Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 English lessons across ability ranges. Be passionate about instilling a love of English language and literature.
