Position Overview: As a Teacher of English, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the study of English language and literature. You will deliver dynamic and creative lessons that ignite a love for learning and enable students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Teach a range of English topics, including language skills, literature, and writing, utilizing innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective interventions as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, schemes of work, and assessment strategies that reflect the aims and objectives of the English department. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and actively contributing to the school community. Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school by participating in enrichment activities, clubs, and events that enhance the educational experience for students. Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Specialism in English language and literature, with a deep understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their academic potential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Ability to differentiate teaching and learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
