Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a high-quality English Teacher to work in a long-term, full-time role in a school located in the Scunthorpe area!
The responsibilities of this position will include the following:
Deliver excellent lessons to pupils in KS3 & KS4, supporting their development and engagement with English.
Plan and prepare creative lessons that inspire, as well as motivate students to participate in lessons.
Teach based on the National Curriculum and help pupils succeed in the subject.
Collaborate with the English Department and join their mission in improving results.
Follow Safeguarding and Behavioural policies.
The school wants a teacher that can handle challenging behaviour and uphold high standards in the classroom.
During your time in the placement, we will support you with CPD training through the National College, continuous communication to ensure needs are met, and competitive pay.
To apply for this role, you must have the following:
A specialism in English and QTS.
Experience working in a secondary school.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Satisfactory References.
Right to work in the UK.
This role has the potential to be paid to scale which is a range between £62 per day.
