Teacher of English Location: Southampton Start Date: January 2025 Salary: MPS/UPS GSL Education are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to work on a supply basis at a Client Secondary School in Southampton starting in January 2025. Teacher of English Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging English Literature and Language lessons. Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate. Manage high levels of student attainment through strong leadership and supervision. Continue personal development in relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods. Teacher of English Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Degree in English. Possess the ability to inspire and motivate students to think critically. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Provide a differentiated learning experience that ensures all students make progress. Have a proven track record of improving attainment levels at GCSE for English Literature and Language. Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
