The Role: Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Inspire students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and a deep appreciation for literature. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to guide their learning journey. Collaborate with colleagues to create a rich and supportive learning environment. Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of the English department. The Ideal Candidate: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree. Has a proven track record of teaching English in a secondary school setting. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the English curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Is passionate about fostering a love for reading and writing among students. Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
