MPS/UPS, Special Needs Allowance plus TLR (depending on experience) Shaftesbury High School supports 171 pupils aged 11 to 19, all with a range of special educational needs. Shaftesbury High School is looking to appoint a Teacher of Food Technology from February 24 th

or April 2 nd

2025. We are looking to recruit a motivated and inspiring teacher of Food Technology who values making a difference. Responsibilities include: Providing learning that will make a lasting change to our students. Actively engaging with students as learners and promoting their engagement in learning. Preparing students to gain recognised qualifications (Btech Home Cooking Skills). Valuing planning and leading enrichment trips locally and further afield. Our Food Technology Curriculum is ambitious and engaging, with students performing well in examinations. It prepares our students for employability and life, building their functional skills and enabling them to access future opportunities.
