Secondary Teacher of Health and Social Care – Canterbury * Job Title: Teacher of Health and Social Care * Location: Canterbury, Kent * Start Date: September 2024 * Salary: £30,000 to £46,525 (In line with your current pay scale) * Full/Part Time: Full Time Secondary Teacher of Health and Social Care – Canterbury Academics, Canterbury are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher to join a school in Canterbury, Kent as a full-time Health and Social Care Teacher. As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and prepare them for further studies. Secondary Teacher of Health and Social Care – Canterbury Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching of Health and Social Care curriculum to students * Consistently assess and monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback * Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues * Provide pastoral care and guidance to students * Contribute to the continued development of the Health and Social Care curriculum and school policies Secondary Teacher of Health and Social Care – Canterbury Requirements: * Relevant qualifications (ideally a Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Health and Social Care or a related field * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience in teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school setting * Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care curriculum * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team * Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people We offer a competitive salary, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
