About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Southwark. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to support the educational development of young students, ensuring they receive the best possible learning experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Support students with individual learning needs, both inside and outside the classroom. Help to manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work closely with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to support their academic progress. Contribute to the preparation of classroom materials and resources. Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them reach their potential. Assist with the supervision of students during breaks and extracurricular activities. Requirements: Experience working with children, ideally in a classroom setting (although training will be provided for the right candidate). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for working with young learners and supporting their development. Patience, creativity, and a proactive attitude. A good understanding of the national curriculum. DBS check required (can be arranged for the successful candidate). Desirable Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
