Fixed Term until 31.08.2025 (potential to extend depending on funding) An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant who can provide exceptional learning support to children and teachers across the school. We are looking for a talented, hardworking, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team here at Westoe Crown. The ideal candidate will:
Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Education; Have experience of working with children in a school environment; Be flexible and work well as part of a team. South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
