Teaching Assistant - Sutton TimePlan Education is currently looking for flexible and enthusiastic candidates for full-time teaching assistant roles in several excellent schools in Sutton (and surrounding areas). These rewarding and varied full-time teaching assistant roles will start in January 2025. Responsibilities

Support children in their learning and development. Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons. Provide support for children with special educational needs (SEN). Qualifications

Previous experience working with children is not essential, although relevant experience (such as in dance, drama, sports, youth work, or arts) would be advantageous. You should hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (such as a CACHE Level 3) or a university degree (not necessarily related to childcare). Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential. Additional Information

Teaching assistant roles would particularly suit individuals keen to undertake teacher training in the future, such as a PGCE or Teach First.
