An outstanding 3-form entry primary school based in Southwark is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team for this academic year.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support for students with SEN, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, and assisting the class teacher with various tasks.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with primary-aged students and a good understanding of SEN. You should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

The role as a Learning Support Assistant: Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation Working 1:1, identifying and responding appropriately to challenging individual needs Ongoing training and support A playful and enthusiastic approach to working with children with a wide range of needs and backgrounds

Minimum Requirements: - Previous experience working with primary-aged students - Good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Strong communication skills
