Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join the team at a secondary school in Hackney. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of our students.September start for the academic year 2023/4Salary: £85-95 per dayHours: 8.15am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, term time onlyKey responsibilities:Provide individual and small group support to students, assisting with their academic progress and well-beingSupport the classroom teacher in the planning and delivery of lessonsHelp to prepare and maintain resources and materialsProvide assistance and support to students with special educational needs and disabilitiesSupervise and support students during independent and group work activitiesThe ideal candidate will have:Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learningThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamStrong organisational and planning skillsA passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of young peopleThe school offers a supportive and dynamic working environment, excellent professional development opportunities and a competitive salary.
