Job Title: Teaching Assistant SEMH Teaching Assistant Full-time North London Contract: Ongoing A highly-respected specialist school, based within North London, is looking for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their staff on a full-time basis. The Role

The role requires you to be confident in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and to set as well as maintain boundaries. You will support various pupils across the school on both a 1 to 1 and small group basis. You will work closely with the teaching and wider staff team to provide support for the students within classes, school activities, and specialist and intervention sessions. School

This school provides education for up to 82 students aged 5 to 16 who have either been permanently excluded from mainstream school or are on a placement. They are taught in groups of normally no more than seven. There are two sites, the Primary site and Secondary site, as well as an additional site for vocational and alternative provision.
