Teaching Assistant

to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Cardiff, working within their

Specialist Resource Base (SRB) . As an SRB Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN), including autism, speech and language difficulties, or other developmental needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs). Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for pupils. Assist with the preparation and delivery of tailored learning activities. Promote positive behavior and social skills in line with the school’s ethos. Minimum Requirements: Experience working with children, ideally in a school or ALN setting. A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young learners. Knowledge or experience of working with children with autism, speech and language needs, or developmental delays (desirable). A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent (preferred but not essential). All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
