About the role: This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kedleston team and shape our brand new provision in the heart of London. As Teaching Assistant at Mapesbury School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher to support teaching and learning in the classroom and provide general support in the management and organisation of the pupils. You will use behaviour management strategies effectively and in line with the school’s policy and procedures, which contribute to a purposeful learning environment and promote the inclusion of all pupils ensuring they have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop. All staff are responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school. About you: Ideally, for this role, we are looking for applicants who have experience of working with children with Autism and associated needs and have a passion for supporting young people to learn and develop. The successful candidate is required to provide references and will be expected to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
