Are you passionate about providing opportunities for personal, social, health, and emotional development? Can you support pupils' spiritual, moral, social, and cultural growth? Do you aim to prepare all pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences of life? TeacherActive is currently working with Ofsted-outstanding SEMH schools in Oxford, catering to both primary and secondary pupils. These schools specialize in providing a holistic and inclusive environment tailored to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. With a structured approach guided by individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), students are taught in small groups or on a one-to-one basis by skilled and dedicated staff. We are looking for motivated and compassionate teaching staff with a strong background in supporting children with SEMH needs. This role requires individuals who can build trust and foster positive relationships, creating a safe and nurturing environment for learning. Collaboration with colleagues, a flexible mindset, and a commitment to helping vulnerable children succeed are essential. This is a highly rewarding role where you will witness the transformative impact of your work every day. The successful candidate will have:

Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, including behavioral challenges, ADHD, or trauma-related difficulties. A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience in an educational setting. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and team members. The ability to adapt teaching strategies to support emotional and academic development. A proactive and resilient approach, with a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning. The ability to travel to the site (own transport preferred but not essential). In return, you can expect:

A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to assist you throughout your placement. Guaranteed Payment Scheme (terms and conditions apply). Access to CPD courses and certifications via the My-Progression channel. Market-leading rates of pay. TeacherActive Referral Scheme earn up to £100 when you refer a friend (terms and conditions apply). PAYE payment system, ensuring accurate tax and National Insurance contributions without hidden admin charges. This is a challenging but life-changing opportunity to support students in overcoming obstacles and achieving their potential. If you're ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people, apply today and join us at TeacherActive! All applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and then invited to register with TeacherActive. Registration involves an enhanced DBS check, ID checks, and will require you to supply good professional references. We pride ourselves on excellent service. We can provide a wide range of opportunities in schools and other educational institutions, with good rates of pay, at times to suit your needs. TeacherActive is an equal opportunities employer, and operates as an Employment Business in providing temporary or contract job-seeking services.
