We're looking for a
Team Lead - Global Record to Report (Cash Accounting)
to join our Finance Hub in Basingstoke.
As a Team Lead, you'll oversee the cash accounting function across our international operations. With a sharp focus on financial control, reporting, and process improvement, you'll ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all accounting activities. Collaborating with stakeholders across the business, you'll play a pivotal role in driving efficiencies, championing best practices, and empowering your team to achieve their full potential. This is a hybrid role where you'll be required to work 3 days a week in the office, offering flexibility to work at home 2 days a week.
Your
key responsibilities
include: Lead & Inspire:
Manage a team of 4, setting clear objectives, coaching on complex queries, and fostering a collaborative environment. Ownership of Cash Accounting:
Oversee cash activities, including bank reconciliations, journal processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Drive Process Improvements:
Continuously identify and implement operational efficiencies within cash management and financial controls. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to support robust financial reporting. Reporting & Analysis:
Ensure timely preparation of financial and management reports, along with accurate cash flow forecasting. Governance & Compliance:
Maintain strong controls, ensure adherence to company policies, and align with statutory accounting and tax regulations. Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
Team leadership in a shared services environment; comprehensive understanding of treasury processes and cash accounting practices. Technical Expertise:
Proven track record in month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and process improvement methodologies. Stakeholder Skills:
Evidence of building effective and impactful relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders. Leadership Qualities:
Proactive, adaptable, and a role model for company values, with the ability to motivate and empower your team. Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to deliver insights to drive decision-making. Benefits
