Due to substantial growth within their Binding Authority team, a permanent position for a Binding Authority Senior Technician / Team Leader has arisen.

Your new role Your new job as a Binding Authority Senior Technician / Team Leader will involve working within the Binding Authority team as part of the Broker Technical Services division, providing a first-class service to all coverholders in all aspects of their insurance arrangements. This role will entail managing the day-to-day running of the team, ensuring high professional standards and continual improvements in service delivery, providing support to management, and training team members where required. You will assist with the production and analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly reports relating to KPIs within the team. Duties will also include creating and checking Binding Authority slip documentation for accuracy, processing third-party bordereaux via internal processing systems to the bureau, and handling and resolving client queries related to Slip and Premium issues. Other responsibilities include maintaining statistical information and ensuring the electronic filing system is up to date and accurate, assisting with ad hoc duties, working as part of a team to test and implement new systems, and effectively dealing with escalation issues internally or externally.

What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience handling Binding Authorities as a Senior Technician or a Team Leader in the London Insurance Market will contribute to your success. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of Binding Authorities and/or Delegated Authority contracts, Microsoft Office products, and London Market information technology systems. You will possess a willingness to develop your knowledge, attention to detail, the ability to make your own judgments, and high verbal and written communication skills. You should also have the ability to find innovative solutions, work without supervision, check documentation and data with high accuracy, prioritize workload, manage time effectively, work within a team under pressure, and adhere to deadlines.
