3D Graphics, C/C++, Gaming Development, QA Testing Looking for an excellent career opportunity in the Gaming sector in the lovely city of London. You will be working with the Research and Development Team in the development of APIs, as well as the test and release team, providing services to the development teams across Europe. Working with the development teams and product specifications, you will develop test cases in C/C++ to validate project requirements and verify software quality throughout the development lifecycle or sprints. You will strive to improve the tools through execution of tests and resolution of defects, reporting results to the Development Lead and Test Manager. Technical Skills: Experience reviewing code changes and mitigating conflicts Supporting the hiring of staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent C/C++ skills and structured programming techniques Experience writing test cases for APIs and console applications Knowledge of source control systems, bug reporting software, and project tracking software (such as Perforce/GitHub, Bugzilla, and Hansoft/Confluence) Experience in testing tools or systems Strong problem-solving skills Computer Science or Engineering Degree - 1st or 2:1 or further postgraduate qualifications Knowledge or experience of Agile, Waterfall, and similar development methodologies Knowledge or experience in Lua, C#, Python, or similar scripting languages Experience with Visual Studio and support tools Games development background, especially in console development Experience using testing frameworks such as CppUnit Experience in test automation 3D Graphics, Audio, Network, or Client-Server programming experience Please get in touch for further details on this excellent career opportunity working for a world leader in technology.
