Team Leader Level 3 - Top Bananas The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to complete a Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship at Top Bananas as a Baby Room Leader. Top Bananas Pre-School opened in 2016 and expanded to a Day Nursery in 2019. It is located within the Life Centre, Moordown. It is run by highly qualified and experienced practitioners who are enthusiastic about their role. The ethos of the setting is to Play, Learn and Grow together. Top Bananas is situated within the Life Centre. It has its own private entrance via Brassey Road, 100 meters along on the left-hand side. Enter through the car park and towards the back, where the outside play area can be seen. A secure door entry system is in place to ensure the safety of the children. The Pre-School and Nursery have their own separate entrance and this is clearly visible. Your roles and responsibilities will include: Responsible for the room audit, funding audit, and the medicine audit. Ensure the registers are in place. Responsible for 3 members of staff, ensuring that they are supported. Act as a key person. Delegate to the team of staff. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, always ensuring their safety and well-being. Liaise with parents, colleagues, and professionals. Be hands-on and manage daily routines, including mealtimes and nap times. Drive initiatives that promote social skills, creativity, and emotional development among children. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behavior as required. Requirements: A Level 3 Childcare Qualification is required. GCSEs A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent (i.e., functional skills). Must obtain a clear DBS. Hours: Top Bananas are open between the hours of 07:15-17:45 Monday-Friday. Working hours will be 40 hours per week.
