A Glimpse into the Role Awaiting You

Assisting the Contract Manager and Supervisor in the effective management of the programmed maintenance. Proactively leading by example with grounds maintenance work. Support and guidance of the service delivery team e.g. grounds maintenance operatives. Main duties include initial marking & over marking sports pitches. However, on occasion, performing other duties may be required such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, and shrub bed maintenance. The successful applicant may be required to drive/tow a trailer, and following suitable training, you may be required to operate a tractor or larger mowing equipment; therefore, a UK driving licence is required for this post. Previous experience and relevant tickets are desirable, but full training and career development will be provided. Candidates will also use a range of other tools and some machinery maintenance. Completing necessary daily check sheets and paperwork involved with the smooth running of operations. DBS will need to be obtained due to the nature of the contract. Who are you?

Skilled in grounds maintenance operations with an awareness of all Health and Safety Legislation. Excellent communication skills. Supervisory/leadership experience would be an advantage. Experience and knowledge in Initial marking sports pitches is required. A full clean UK driving licence is required as you may be required to operate ride-on mowers and drive company vehicles/tow trailers. Certified in PA1 & PA6 is desirable. What do we offer?
