Your role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our Manufacturing team at our Peterborough site. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will be responsible for leading a team of operators and ensuring the smooth running of the production process, ensuring all products are produced to the required quality specifications and production output quantities, on target and on time. You will follow best practice to improve area and team using continuous improvement techniques, team training, and leading improvement projects. You will be responsible for production in terms of management of staff, management of production and targets, and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes. You will contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on manufacturing activities. You will ensure rejected pallets are controlled and repaired following site processes and any scrap timber is recorded correctly. It is crucial to develop and maintain good working relationships with team members and other team leaders, clearly communicating tasks, issues, and handovers. You will play a key part in the team to assist in the induction process and training of all new production employees, ensuring that all safe systems of work are always followed. You will review stock supply on the line and ensure zero stock outs, make sure piece rates are correct and store data correctly following processes and procedures. It is important to engage with the team to ensure good staff morale. As a Team Leader, you will have previous manufacturing Team Leader experience, be able to give briefings, create presentations, and be able to delegate authority in the workplace. A customer-focused attitude, confidence, and a friendly demeanor are essential. Who we are:
