What Are We Looking For? We are seeking

Team Leader Mental Health Support Workers

to join our team to support our staff and patients in their homes. As part of a small team, you will manage a team of support staff. Provide

day-to-day support

for patients in their home environment. Assist with daily living tasks such as cleaning, meaningful activities, and mental health support. Encourage and promote

independence

in daily activities. Monitor patients’

mental and physical health , reporting any concerns to senior team members. Follow

care plans

and

risk assessments , ensuring all records are up to date. Support patients in accessing their local community and participating in local activities. Always promote

dignity and respect

in your care. Support patients with

medication compliance

and provide assistance during times of crisis, where appropriate. We work with a wide range of

mental health conditions , but we do not provide personal or domiciliary care. Our focus is on providing

psychiatric

and

social support . Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Excellent assessment and written documentation skills. Competence with computers and IT systems. A proactive, organized, and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritize effectively. Team spirit and a positive, solution-focused attitude. A friendly, confident, and professional telephone manner. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support. Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required. Previous experience of supporting individuals with Autism. Previous experience of supporting individuals with mental health diagnosis. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
