The Team Leader, under the guidance of the Senior Team Leader and Operations Manager, will be responsible for leading, driving, and managing a manufacturing team responsible for Enhanced Compounding supplying the UK and Ireland market. The daily responsibilities of the Team Leader are to drive manufacturing activities to ensure that they are aligned with the commercial business requirements by close collaboration with supply chain, planning, engineering, quality, and warehouse/logistics and pack teams on site. By understanding and monitoring manufacturing flow and cycle times, the Team Leader is responsible for executing daily production plans in the manufacturing areas as well as driving a CI culture in the area. The role requires the ability to develop strong working relationships with the team and to develop exceptional leadership and management skills to drive and manage the team. The role will be working between Sunday and Thursday, on night shifts working 2pm until 10pm based at our Stockport site. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To coach less experienced Technicians on the EC processes, good manufacturing practices, efficiency improvements, etc. To become an area expert in the EC. Day-to-day management, organizing, driving, and leading a team of production technicians. Maximizing the efficiency of the equipment and resources in the manufacturing area. Monitoring, controlling, and adjusting manufacturing processes during production hours. Responsible for organizing daily tasks and setting goals for the team to meet expectations and company targets for manufacturing KPIs. Responsible for leading in resolving issues that might affect safety, compliance, output, and business ethics. Through a strong presence in the workplace, coach and mentor staff to ensure all critical processes are executed with a sense of purpose in compliance with Baxter internal processes as well as ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with GMP, Standard Operating Procedures, and other regulatory agency requirements. Ensure timely completion of relevant deviation and complaint investigations to identify true root causes and the elimination of future re-occurrences. Contribute to CI activities & succession planning and contribute to the setting of objectives for the team, and assist in the appraisal of the performance of individual team members on a day-to-day basis and also, using Baxter tools, e.g. ACE check-ins, ensure individuals are focused on activities that will support the EC objectives and ensure patient supply and customer satisfaction. Take ownership of your own personal development plan and complete the TIP’s training program. Specific tasks: Support to Senior Team Leader, allocation of resource, generate pick lists, re-print labels, stock movements, daily register, FMS alarms, re-allocation of batches, CCTV reviews, CPI’s, organize clean room staff entry, organize break cover, record and update data records, absence cover for Senior Team Leader and any other tasks requested by EC management Team. Qualifications and Experience
GCSE or equivalent English & Mathematics. Good oral/written communication. High attention to detail.
