The Unscheduled Care Mental Health Team is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team as a band 7 team leader.
UCAT provide, in collaboration with medical staff colleagues, a response to all episodes of unscheduled mental health care in Fife. This is a 24 hour, 7 day a week service; out of hours the team provide bed management support across mental health site in Fife.

We are looking for a leader who is creative, dynamic, and who inspires and motivates a team by fostering innovation and who will work in partnership with the wider team.
It is essential that the post-holder is a First-Level Registered Mental Health Nurse with significant post-registration experience and recent adult mental health experience or knowledge, including experience in mental health assessment, risk assessment, and risk management. The post-holder must demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation towards organisational change and change management. The post requires a high level of verbal and written communication skills across multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams.
The post-holder will be expected to lead the nursing team in-line with the team leader job description. The post-holder will have 24-hour continuing responsibility for the area they manage. You will be required to work a shift pattern in line with the clinical need of the team, with clinical time to be agreed with the line manager based on service need. There might also be a requirement to participate in the Senior Charge Nurse rota.
The applicant will be expected to be educated to degree level or equivalent level of skill gained through experience.
