About the Role

The Health and Care Act 2022 gave the Care Quality Commission (CQC) new regulatory powers to undertake independent assessments of local authorities’ delivery of regulated care functions set out in Part 1 of the Care Act 2014. The assessments will focus on how local authorities discharge their duties under 4 key themes. The role is key to embedding a robust assurance framework and to gather the relevant evidence regarding the identified key themes and to prepare the workforce for the CQC inspection. This is essential for us to provide the documentary evidence of how we meet the requirements of the Care Act Part 1. The role will also be key to working with the PSW and practice development leads in putting in place improvement actions where audits and feedback have identified these are required. They will provide the evidence and actions to the Senior Leadership team at assurance board, leading on engagement of the workforce and partners on our self-assessment evaluation. The role is essential for Adult social care's preparation for our Inspection from CQC and making sure that we identify where improvements are required and plans are in place and monitored and coordinated across the services. What Will You Be Doing?

You will be supporting all of the services across adult social care with the learning from practice audits and reviews and supporting with ensuring pathways are robust and meet customer outcomes. About You
