You will be supporting a small staff team with a service of approximately 40 children in placement.
You will be / have:
A qualified social worker
SWE registered
Current / recent experience within the fostering sector
Excellent knowledge of fostering legislation, policies and procedures
Creativity, drive, and ambition around growing and nurturing a fostering service
Previous staff support / supervisory experience
A car owner / driver
Brief overview of role / responsibilities:
Offer support to the Regional Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring outstanding practice across the region, and deputise for the Manager as required.
Provide quality assurance and supervision as required of the assessments of applicants to foster, and other reports as requested, in conjunction with the Regional Manager.
Undertake the role of panel advisor if required.
Support the Regional Manager in the ongoing development and delivery of training across the Region.
Carry out quality assurance audits throughout the Region.

Salary is £45,000 + 45ppm, with a fantastic bonus scheme available. There may be scope for some negotiation around salary for an experienced applicant – please enquire.
