Tech Application Business Analyst Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Web Application Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of web applications, with a focus on CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities: Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders to develop web application solutions. Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members to create functional specifications and system designs. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide project updates. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the web application meets business needs. Identify and troubleshoot issues in web applications and recommend improvements. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track project progress and performance. Emphasis on Non-Functional Requirements (NFR). User Design-Led Approach for Requirements Gathering. Stay updated with the latest web application trends, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on web applications. Strong understanding of web application development processes and technologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in business analysis tools and software, such as Google Workspace, Signavio, JIRA, and Confluence. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles. Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA). Experience with Google technologies, such as Gemini, Cloud Services, BigQuery. Experience with CPQ systems, such as Salesforce CPQ or other CPQ platforms.
