Your future duties and responsibilities The Tech Bar Engineers/Consultant are responsible for monitoring and responding to incident and problem tickets, effectively being the front line of support for requests.

This role will include picking up incidents and problems and involve the following duties: Walk ins - Incidents and requests - 1st line fixes / 2nd line support Arranging appointments for Tech bar visits / desktop team visits. Work closely with desktop team Hardware allocations to users such as new equipment and peripherals Point for users to drop off kit and collect kit. Microsoft Office / Teams support VPN troubleshooting Windows 7 / 10 support Assist with Service Desk Tickets Hardware hand overs / new starters (Initial device set up Laptop/Mobile) Process leaver returns Process/fill out asset handover forms (incl. starter/leaver/transfer) Act as a point of contact for client questions MacAfee one time recovery Bitlocker one time recovery Laptop Loan administration Mobile device allocation / setup and MDM admin Tech bar stock room monitoring / audit of spares within Assisting Desktop Support Engineers where necessary.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role Key Skills Include: Ticket and queue management Ability to repair and fault find Diligence and an eye for detail Effective communication skills Ability to effectively work as part of a team and on an individual basis Time management Wide variation of technical awareness IT Service Management system/ Service Now/Remedy Windows 10 Support (knowledge of) Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
