As Frontend Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and execution of our core product development. You will guide a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality code, efficient design, and timely delivery of features. This role demands a blend of hands-on development skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with product and design teams. You'll be a key player in shaping our technical direction and mentoring junior engineers to elevate their skills and contributions. Guide the team towards pragmatic, efficient solutions, avoiding over-engineering and focusing on delivering core value. Champion clean, well-documented code and efficient design. Collaboration:

Work hand in hand with the Product Manager and Designer, ensuring open communication to communicate ideas and opinions. Proactively communicate changes and maintain alignment. Solutioning and Architecture:

Design and implement solutions that maximize impact with minimal effort. Prioritize iterative progress and long-term efficiency, focusing on delivering value now and building for the future. Development:

Contribute high-quality, well-documented code to the codebase. Maintain a clean, efficient codebase by adhering to best practices and conducting thorough code reviews. Delivery Management:

Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies. Monitor team progress and velocity, balancing feature development with technical debt reduction and codebase improvements. Support product managers in roadmap creation, task definition, and work breakdown. Team Management:

Work effectively with stakeholders across various business functions. Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering their growth. Contribute to technical hiring and interviews. Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical upskilling across the team and organization. Requirements for the role: 5+ years’ of software development, with recent experience in retail/eCommerce. Experience with modern frontend architectures best practices, including bundle and content delivery. Experience building and maintaining a reusable component library for rapid iterations. Experience working on consumer-facing eCommerce applications, with a preference toward consumer goods. Experience integrating content management systems (CMS). Experience with SEO and site optimization techniques. Experience with product analytics frameworks and implementation (Amplitude, GTM, etc). Experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation. Experience building frontends dealing with eventual consistency, requiring resiliency-by-design. Technical Experience: Required: React, Typescript. Preferred: NextJS, Chakra UI, Contentful (or similar headless CMS), Containerization.
